Real-World “Nightshark”: DARTZ Turns Video Game Legend into a $1 Million Custom Machine
RIGA, Latvia — Luxury armored vehicle manufacturer DARTZ has announced an extraordinary custom project that transforms the iconic “Nightshark” from the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) video game universe into a real-world machine costing over $1 million for a private client.
Moving beyond traditional chauffeur luxuries such as rear massage seats and basic entertainment screens, DARTZ dedicated the entire rear cabin to a single-player gaming experience. The centerpiece of the interior is built around an authentic fighter-jet ejection seat—adapted for automotive safety—leaving its mechanical frames, rails, and five-point harness fully visible.
In place of a standard seatbelt buckle, the company integrated a physical, engraved metal weapon-selection wheel mirroring the game’s interface. The cabin also features integrated gun ports, a massive low-latency gaming display powered by satellite internet, and a high-end integrated sound system paired with custom electrostatic headphones.
In a departure from DARTZ’s historical use of rare exotic animal leathers, the client explicitly requested an animal-free build. The interior utilizes high-end automotive-grade engineered surfaces combined with bio-based and plant-derived components that replicate the rich texture and feel of shark and alligator skin without using real animal hides.
The interior offers three functional modes: a fully connected gaming mode, an isolated focus mode, and a real-time exterior display mode using live cameras mounted around the vehicle. The cabin ambiance switches from an ivory-white luxury aesthetic into a neon cyan-and-pink single-player game chamber.
An independent reveal for the completed vehicle is scheduled in Miami in November 2026, aligning with the currently announced launch window for GTA VI. DARTZ continues to withhold the client’s identity, full protection specifications, the underlying vehicle platform, and the specific gaming console brand housed behind the panels.
