STARZPLAY, one of the region’s leading subscription video-on-demand services, has debuted the official trailer of the Emmy-winning critically acclaimed anthology series Fargo. Returning for its fifth installment, the show will be streaming exclusively on STARZPLAY starting November 22. The latest installment of Fargo is set to transport audiences once again to the heart of Minnesota and North Dakota with an enthralling blend of crime, dark humor, and unexpected twists that will keep the viewers eagerly anticipating what comes next.

The iconic series features a star-studded cast: Emmy-nominated actress Juno Temple starring as Dorothy “Dot” Lyon; Madmen’s John Hamm as North Dakota Sheriff Roy Tillman, with Stranger Things fan-favorite Joe Keery starring as his son, Gator Tillman; New Girl’s Lamorne Morris as North Dakota Deputy Witt Farr; Never Have I Ever’s Richa Moorjani plays Minnesota Police Deputy Indira Olmstead, and the legendary Sam Spruell playing a mysterious character named Ole Munch.
The show follows the story of Sheriff Roy Tillman as he tries to capture Dorothy Lyon, known as “Dot”, a seemingly typical Midwestern housewife who is suddenly plunged back into a life she thought she had left behind. While pursuing her, Tillman’s relationship with his son breaks down, and the father-son tension plays out through the season. In an attempt to shelter her family from her past, Dot, turns to her wealthy mother-in-law, Lorraine, who heads a respected debt collection agency and assigns her an advisor, Dave Foley. However, her awkward behavior has already piqued the curiosity of Minnesota Police Deputy Indira Olmstead and North Dakota Deputy Witt Farr, setting the stage for an enthralling mystery full of twists and turns.
The 6 Primetime Emmy Award-winning series is inspired by the 1996 Coen Brothers crime movie of the same name, with an anthology format featuring a different cast and setting each season. Peabody and Emmy Award-winning Executive Producer Noah Hawley (showrunner/writer/director), and his production company 26 Keys, leads the creative team of the latest all-new installment of the award-winning, true crime story. Warren Littlefield (The Handmaid’s Tale, The Old Man), and his production company The Littlefield Company, also serves as executive producer along with Steve Stark, Kim Todd and Joel & Ethan Coen.
