Google launches ‘Storybook’ feature on Gemini, available in Arabic
For all story lovers, Google today launches a new feature called Storybook in its AI assistant, Gemini. This feature transforms complex ideas or important societal principles into a ten-page story filled with rich illustrations. Storybook is now available on the Gemini website in over 45 languages, including Arabic, and will be coming to the mobile app soon.
Users can access the feature in the Gems menu by selecting Storybook and then typing a request, such as “Create a story about…,” into the prompt bar. To generate a specific visual style, like pixel art or comics, users can simply include it in their text prompt. The final story can be downloaded as a PDF to be shared or printed.
The Storybook feature is powered by Gemini’s latest models, which turn a simple text prompt into a complete story with original images, text, and audio narration. Users can listen to the story in their selected language or read along.
For a personal touch, the story can be customized by changing character names, modifying scene details, or even uploading photos of people or a child’s drawings to be incorporated into the illustrations.
This feature was designed for parents and educators to help teach children about family and societal principles in an engaging way. It can also be used to simplify complex scientific concepts, using simple language and images suitable for the target audience.
