Scale AI and Dell Technologies Sign MoU to Support Qatar’s Digital Future and AI Capabilities

Scale AI and Dell Technologies today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance artificial intelligence capabilities and support Qatar’s national digital transformation agenda. The MoU was signed by Travers Nicholas, managing director of North Gulf at Dell Technologies, and Amr Samir, Qatar Country Lead at Scale AI.
The collaboration establishes a framework to expand the adoption of advanced AI solutions across the nation, directly supporting the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030. It will also focus on strengthening Qatar’s digital infrastructure by making cutting-edge AI more accessible to local enterprises and public sector entities.
Scale AI and Dell Technologies will explore pathways to deliver scalable, high-performance technology solutions across client, edge and multi-cloud environments.
The agreement will advance collaboration across three areas. On the infrastructure side, the two companies will design integrated AI compute, network and storage stacks, combining Scale AI’s software intelligence with the Dell AI Factory to deliver cohesive, enterprise-grade solutions. In parallel, they will develop joint reference architectures and coordinated go-to-market activities including joint sales motions and co-marketing initiatives enabling organizations across key industry verticals to implement tailored AI workloads with speed and confidence.
The collaboration will also prioritize talent development through a structured exchange of technical expertise and knowledge-sharing sessions, building cross-organizational competencies in AI infrastructure and contributing to the growth of Qatar’s AI talent base.
Amr Samir, Qatar Country Lead at Scale AI, said:
“Scale’s mission is to build reliable AI for the world’s most important decisions, and few decisions matter more than how a nation builds its own AI future. By combining Scale’s software intelligence with Dell’s AI infrastructure, we’re giving Qatar’s enterprises and public institutions the foundation to develop, deploy, and govern AI on their own terms. Ultimately, this partnership is about equipping Qatar with sovereign AI capabilities and the local talent to sustain them, helping to solidify the nation’s position as a global leader in AI.”
Travers Nicholas, managing director, North Gulf at Dell Technologies, added:
“Dell provides the complete AI infrastructure stack, from the largest clusters to every endpoint across an enterprise. Our collaboration with Scale AI directly will bring that full capability to Qatar, giving local businesses and public sector organizations the foundation to put their data to work as AI in production. This will help empower local businesses and public sector services creating new opportunities.”
