Qatar to host the T100 Triathlon World Championship Final for the second year in a row in Lusail City

Qatar is set to once again welcome athletes, endurance enthusiasts, and supporters from across the GCC and beyond as the 2026 Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final returns to Lusail City from 10–12 December 2026 for its second consecutive year.
Organised by Visit Qatar and the Professional Triathletes Organisation, the championship weekend will transform Lusail City into a high-energy hub for elite competition, amateur racing, community participation, and family entertainment.
Following a successful debut edition in 2025, the event is expected to attract increased participation from across the GCC, offering regional athletes the opportunity to compete in a world-class triathlon event closer to home.
The programme will feature the Open T100 race, Sprint Triathlon, T100 Age Group World Championships, as well as 1km and 5km community runs, catering to participants of all ages and experience levels. Athletes will take on the PTO’s signature T100 format, consisting of a 2km swim, 80km cycle, and 18km run through Lusail City’s iconic waterfront and urban landscape.
Beyond the racing, the event will feature an immersive village with live entertainment and family-friendly activities, creating a vibrant festival atmosphere for participants and visitors alike.
As the final stop of the global T100 Triathlon World Tour, the event continues to strengthen Qatar’s position as a leading destination for endurance sport and active lifestyle experiences, combining world-class sporting infrastructure, premium hospitality, and easy accessibility for athletes travelling from across the GCC.
