The highly anticipated HBO series, ‘The Last of Us’, premiered today on OSN+ and OSN Showcase, simultaneously with the US. To celebrate the launch of the series, the streamer hosted an immersive screening event on January 13th in Dubai, where gamers, influencers and key media were invited to preview the first episode of the show ahead of its premiere.

The screening event also saw excited fans of the original video game franchise enjoy an immersive experience at Roxy Cinemas – Boxpark for a first look at the post-apocalyptic drama. Episodes of the series will drop each Monday on OSN+, and air on linear channel OSN Showcase at the same time.

What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.

“OSN+ is thrilled to launch ‘The Last of Us’ in the region. As we continue with our commitment to providing premium entertainment, we are optimistic that the vibrant gaming community and general audiences will enjoy this highly anticipated series of the year,” said Ashley Rite, VP, Marketing & Growth at OSN+.
