ARRIZO 8 Painted in an appealing “Gulf Green” – From The World’s First Co-built Automotive Digital Coating Color Lab – Will Make Its Debut Through Sanabel Modern Motors in Saudi Arabia

Chery Automobile and PPG, the world’s leading supplier of automotive coatings, officially unveiled the joint digital color lab at the Chery Automotive Test and Technology Center. This cutting-edge lab is not the only one of Chery’s 300 ‘Yaoguang laboratories’ dedicated to advanced technology but also the world’s first automotive digitalized color coating lab jointly co-built by an automobile manufacturer and a color coating supplier. This collaboration establishes a leading capability in developing automotive coating colors, which will provide a unique aesthetic experience when it comes to color for global customers of Chery.
The Chery-PPG digital color lab encompasses various functions, including researching and analyzing global color trends, designing exterior colors for the vehicle’s body, rendering and digitally reviewing vehicle colors, developing physical test swatches, simulating and matching colors, conducting R&D on advanced color technologies, exploring new materials and coating processes, extracting consumer color preferences data, verifying paint processes performance, and conducting subjective and objective assessments and testing standards, among other technical aspects.
In the Middle Eastern market, Chery’s ARRIZO 8, which is available exclusively at Sanabel Modern Motors, a subsidiary of Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors Co., will be the first Chinese-branded B-Class sedan to be launched in Saudi Arabia and will be available in “Gulf Green,” an exclusive color scheme developed by the Chery digital color lab. This color scheme distinguishes the ARRIZO 8 from its other colored versions due to its captivating dual green shade that exhibits an enchanting aurora-like effect in sunlight. The ARRIZO 8 showcases a confident and transcendent character with its body length of 4780 mm and wheelbase of 2790 mm, imposing its larger dimensions compared to other vehicles in its class. The flagship status of the ARRIZO 8 is evident in its striking appearance, leaving a lasting impression on those encountering it for the first time.

Staying true to the “Art in Motion” design language, the ARRIZO 8 embodies the captivating design aesthetics of flowing light and shadow.
