Sony Middle East & Africa partners homegrown OTT platform TOD to deliver high-quality entertainment and sports content to GCC users

KSA, Riyadh,gulftech: Sony Middle East and Africa has announced an exciting  collaboration with popular homegrown streaming platform TOD – with all new purchases of the Sony BRAVIA TVs X80K and above models[1], new owners get exclusive sports package subscription to watch the highly anticipated FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ courtesy of TOD.

TOD is the official streaming partner of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™. With the new partnership with Sony, viewers get to catch all the live sporting action from Doha. The subscription activation is valid from 1November to 31 December 2022. Apart from a richer and more immersive viewing experience, powered by Sony’s industry-leading picture quality, purchasing a Sony BRAVIA X80K and above gives buyers access to unrivalled premium content from TOD.

Sony announced the collaboration over a ceremony held in Qatar in the presence of Mr. Ryutaro Kurashige, Head of Television Marketing, Sony MEA and John-Paul Mckerlie, VP Marketing and Sales at TOD.

New users can choose from three TOD plans based on specific interests and needs. The Entertainment Pack features exclusive access to TOD originals – Arabic & Turkish series, the latest Hollywood movies, series from Warner Bros, HBO MAX, Miramax, Digiturk, Sony Pictures Television, and kids’ content, as well as 22 entertainment channels featuring users’ favorite cooking shows, drama & kids shows.

The Sports Pack features live sport and replays from top leagues, competitions, and access to all 24 beIN SPORTS premium sports channels. The platform exclusively streams live and recorded sports like the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, UEFA Champions League, NBA, English Premier League, LaLiga and every Grand Slam tennis tournament, among others for the MENA region.
