The Saudi International Exhibition for Disability and Rehabilitation Requirements opened on Monday, 3/13/2023 in Riyadh, in a strategic partnership with the Authority for the Care of Persons with Disabilities. The exhibition, organized by 1st Arabia Tradeshows & Conferences, features the participation of more than 80 local and international exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies in the rehabilitation industry for people with disabilities, equipment, solutions, services, and their needs.
Her Excellency Ms. Rasha Al-Yami, the acting CEO of the Authority for the Care of Persons with Disabilities, was present during the opening of the exhibition, accompanied by representatives of agencies and sectors concerned with the affairs of persons with disabilities. She emphasized the importance of the exhibition in highlighting the role and responsibility of society towards the needs and rights of individuals with disabilities, and the diversity of local and international participants providing services that remove barriers and empower them in society without discrimination.
The exhibition aims to provide marketing and purchase requirements for people with disabilities, provide and receive services directly, create a competitive atmosphere that aims to provide services within the highest standards, encourage investment in areas of interest to persons with disabilities, and support their integration with all businesses. Dialogue sessions will be held during the exhibition days, featuring experts and specialists in disability and rehabilitation issues representing official authorities from various government agencies and non-profit sector agencies.
