King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority Meets with Delegation from Kenya’s Ministry of Tourism

The CEO of King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority, Eng. Maher Al-Qathmi received a delegation from Kenya’s Ministry of Tourism at the Authority’s headquarters in Riyadh, which included Her Excellency the Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife, Safina Kwekwe and Tourism Secretary, Mr. Said Athman, in the presence of Eng. Talal Jado, Director of the Department of Partnerships Activation and International Relations at the Saudi Ministry of Tourism.
The meeting addressed environmental issues of mututal concern regarding natural reserves and the latest practices in managing them. The counterparts also overviewed Kenya’s experience in the areas of ecotourism and the management, development and protection of natural reserves. The Authority also demonstrated its strategy for developing King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve, as well as future initiatives and projects, in addition to discussing the reserve‘s objectives in preserving and developing wildlife and increasing the vegetation cover.
