Fahad bin Mubarak Al Guthami Named Deputy Chief Executive Officer at American Express Saudi Arabia
Riyadh, gulftech: American Express Saudi Arabia (AESA) announced the appointment of Mr. Fahad bin Mubarak Al Guthami as Deputy Chief Executive Officer.
In his new role, Al Guthami will implement AESA’s strategic priorities in fostering customers’ digital lives through innovation and digitization, expanding leadership in the premium consumer space, building on the strong position of American Express in commercial payments, strengthening the global integrated network to provide unique value and ensuring excellence in quality and service.
Mr. Fahad bin Mubarak Al Guthami led a distinguished career across several strategic positions within American Express Saudi Arabia for over 16 years, heading both the Payment Solutions for Strategic Partnerships management group and the Corporate Relations management group in Saudi Arabia and the role of Chief Operating Officer. His career has been further strengthened with several accomplishments, solidifying him as an experienced asset that the company is proud to reappoint to continue its path of success and excellence on both local and regional fronts.
Prior to joining AESA, Al Guthami was CEO of the Arabian Company for Safety and Security Services ‘AMNCO’, CEO of BATIC investments and logistic company, and the executive advisor to the Ministry of Municipality, Rural Affairs and Housing.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of several companies traded in the Saudi stock market, including BATIC investments and logistic company and the Jazan Energy and Development Company.
Al Guthami graduated in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi (United States of America) and has participated in many executive development programs at INSEAD Business School, the London Business School, and Harvard Business School.
