Saudi Arabia\u2019s healthcare sector has witnessed a notable humanitarian initiative represented in the signing of a cooperation agreement between King\u2019s College London Hospital \u2013 Jeddah<\/a> and the Hassan Abbas Sharbatly Charity Foundation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement aims to provide comprehensive medical care for patients who are unable to afford treatment, as part of a strategic step that reflects the hospital\u2019s vision to enhance its community role and expand its humanitarian impact by supporting the most vulnerable groups across several advanced medical specialties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative comes as part of a sustainable social responsibility program designed to offer specialized medical services to cases that cannot bear the cost of care, within a model that integrates the hospital\u2019s global medical expertise with the long-standing humanitarian mission of the Foundation, established in 1950. Over the decades, the Foundation has supported thousands of medical, educational, and social cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement aims to provide comprehensive medical care for cases referred by the Hassan Abbas Sharbatly Charity Foundation, in addition to some patients at the hospital with very low income. The care will be provided across a set of highly specialized medical fields considered among the most costly and complex, including oncology, cardiology, nephrology, orthopedics, and ophthalmology (medical cases only).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
