The country achieved proactive removal rate at <strong>99.6%<\/strong>, ensuring that nearly all harmful content was identified and removed before user reports. Additionally, <strong>94.3%<\/strong> of violative content was taken down within 24 hours, reflecting strong responsiveness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to removing violative short-form videos, TikTok also banned <strong>347,935 <\/strong>LIVE hosts and interrupted <strong>587,246<\/strong> livestreams for violating the platform\u2019s Community Guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>United Arab Emirates (UAE)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the UAE, <strong>1,051,226<\/strong> videos were removed for violating TikTok\u2019s Community Guidelines. The country recorded a proactive removal rate of <strong>98.2%<\/strong>, and <strong>94%<\/strong> of harmful content was taken down within 24 hours, underscoring TikTok\u2019s ongoing commitment to safety. Furthermore, TikTok banned <strong>86,790<\/strong> LIVE hosts and interrupted <strong>140,295<\/strong> livestreams as part of its ongoing efforts to enforce safety policies and uphold platform integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Morocco<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TikTok removed <strong>1,040,981<\/strong> videos in Morocco during Q1 2025. The platform\u2019s proactive removal rate <strong>98.9%<\/strong> of violative content without user reports. Moreover, <strong>92.1%<\/strong> of these videos were taken down within 24 hours, showing strong moderation efficiency. In addition, TikTok banned <strong>44,121<\/strong> LIVE hosts and disrupted <strong>77,396<\/strong> livestreams in line with its commitment to enforcing Community Guidelines and protecting the platform experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Iraq<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iraq recorded <strong>more than 10 million<\/strong> video removals for violations in Q1 2025 with proactive removal rate of <strong>99.5%<\/strong>, showing strong performance in preemptive content detection. TikTok also acted quickly in Iraq, with <strong>95.5%<\/strong> of violative videos removed within 24 hours. On the LIVE front, TikTok banned <strong>346,335 <\/strong>LIVE hosts and interrupted <strong>649,551<\/strong> livestreams for violating the platform\u2019s Community Guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lebanon<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TikTok removed <strong>1,349,478<\/strong> videos from Lebanon in Q1 2025. With a <strong>99.5%<\/strong> proactive removal rate, the platform maintained robust detection systems with <strong>96.9%<\/strong> of violative content taken down within the first 24 hours, highlighting a rapid response to potential harm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The platform also banned <strong>24,795<\/strong> LIVE hosts and interrupted <strong>45,536<\/strong> livestreams for violating Community Guidelines, reinforcing its commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Appeals and Restoration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TikTok also showed transparency and fairness through its content appeal and restoration process. In cases where users successfully appealed moderation decisions, their videos were restored.
