The transaction marks a significant development in the country\u2019s telecommunications sector, as the financing will enable Orange Egypt to strengthen its infrastructure and acquire a 5G mobile operating license. This upgrade is expected to enhance mobile network efficiency by delivering faster data speeds and reducing network response times, benefiting consumers and businesses across Egypt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The financing consists of two tranches, with Banque Misr and EBRD each contributing 50% of the total amount. Both banks played vital roles in the transaction, demonstrating confidence in Egypt\u2019s growing digital economy and its alignment with sustainable development goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
