However, while many countries are seeing fewer populated shopping malls, the Middle East retail spaces are still driving excitement for consumers.<a id=\"_ftnref1\" href=\"#_ftn1\">[1]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This growth is reinforced by a recent report, which shows that the overall UAE retail industry is projected to grow at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.4% through 2028, supported by increasing demand for experiential retail that goes beyond product purchasing.<a href=\"#_ftn2\" id=\"_ftnref2\">[2]<\/a> Reflecting the change in consumer behavior and a new generation of shoppers who now seek integrated environments where dining, leisure, wellness, and social interaction come together under one roof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mall experiences across the region have migrated from traditional brick &amp; mortar retail to experiential offerings. The retail industry has pivoted towards creating immersive experiences, particularly within indoor environments; positioning malls as ideal destinations to deliver these enhanced consumer engagements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond creating these attractions for the residents, the UAE has become a family holiday destination.
