The update of this development was <strong>announced by Sultan Al Shakrah, CEO of Ajmal Makan Real Estate Development<\/strong>. The project will accommodate <strong>over 60,000 residents<\/strong> across <strong>eight islands<\/strong>, blending modern urban living with sustainable, eco-friendly practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs construction progresses, Ajmal Makan City will not only expand Sharjah\u2019s real estate sector but will continue to the creation of thousands of jobs across diverse industries such as <strong>real estate, infrastructure, retail, hospitality, education, healthcare, entertainment, and services<\/strong>.\u201d said <strong>Sultan Al Shakrah<\/strong>, CEO of <strong>Ajmal Makan Real Estate Development<\/strong><strong>. <\/strong>He further explained, <strong>\u201c<\/strong>The project&#8217;s <strong>freehold status<\/strong> and scale have already drawn interest from <strong>local and international investors<\/strong>, with developers positioning it as a key contributor to <strong>Sharjah\u2019s economic diversification strategy<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ajmal Makan Real Estate Development Company, the project\u2019s developer, has <strong>launched three new projects<\/strong>, <strong>Al Thuraya Island<\/strong>, <strong>The View Island and Blue Beach Residence<\/strong>, while the <strong>first and second phases of Sun Island<\/strong> have already been delivered. Additionally, Blue Bay Walk, compromising three phases, has seen Phase 1 delivered, with Phase 2 and 3 completed ahead of schedule and set for delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once completed, <strong>Ajmal Makan City \u2013 Sharjah Waterfront<\/strong> will be the largest mixed-use residential, commercial, and tourism project in Sharjah. The City is expected to become a benchmark for sustainable urban living, blending modernity with environmental consciousness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Expanding Sharjah\u2019s Real Estate Market<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The development includes <strong>1,500 villas, mid-rise buildings, hotels, and retail spaces<\/strong>, a university, schools a theme park, and other attractions that will be an addition to Sharjah\u2019s real estate landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAjmal Makan City is more than just a new urban development\u2014it\u2019s a catalyst for economic growth,\u201d emphasises <strong>Sultan Al Shakrah, CEO of Ajmal Makan Real Estate Development<\/strong>. \u201cWith the creation of thousands of jobs, both in construction and through the businesses and services that will operate within the city, we are not only expanding Sharjah\u2019s real estate sector but also contributing to overall economic prosperity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Infrastructure and Tourism Potential<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The development will add <strong>36 kilometers of coastline<\/strong>, a <strong>marina with 800 yacht berths<\/strong>, and a <strong>1.6-million-square-foot theme park<\/strong>. A <strong>3-million-square-foot shopping mall<\/strong> is also planned, along with <strong>waterfront dining and entertainment venues<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>60% of the land area<\/strong> is allocated to <strong>green spaces, beaches, and public areas<\/strong>, aligning with Sharjah\u2019s <strong>sustainability goals<\/strong>. The project\u2019s <strong>modern infrastructure, eco-conscious design, and waterfront living options<\/strong> position it as a key destination for <strong>residents, tourists, and investors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ajmal Makan City is part of Sharjah\u2019s broader push to enhance its <strong>real estate, tourism, and business landscape<\/strong>, reinforcing its status as a competitive hub for sustainable urban development.
