lululemon<\/a>, <\/strong>operated by Majid Al Futtaim in the Middle East, is set to host its largest community gathering on Saturday, 5 October, ahead of World Mental Health Day (10 October).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the brand\u2019s \u2018Together We Grow\u2019 global initiative, lululemon will host events in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam to bring an expected 2,000 participants together to move, connect, and engage in meaningful discussions around wellbeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recent findings from a study conducted by Majid Al Futtaim on behalf of lululemon reveal that 30% of residents in Saudi Arabia rate their overall wellbeing as \u2018high,\u2019 with the majority (70%) reporting their wellbeing moderate to very low. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The study highlights a significant gap, with 63% of respondents believing society is judgmental towards those with lower mental wellbeing, highlighting the need for further supportive community environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

lululemon\u2019s \u2018Together We Grow\u2019 community events will offer a range of activities designed to boost both mental and physical wellbeing including energising workouts, calming yoga sessions, connection zones, and a special panel discussion on well-being in Jeddah. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These sessions, which include female only and mixed options, are designed to get participants moving and also emphasise the strong link between physical activity and mental wellbeing\u2014a connection echoed by 90% of survey respondents who believe that physical wellbeing is critical for mental wellbeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fahed Ghanim, CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle, which operates lululemon in the Middle East, said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe \u2018Together We Grow’ event is a powerful reminder of the value of community and the impact it has on our wellbeing. Our study found that 80% of residents in Saudi Arabia believe support networks\u2014whether friends, family, or community groups\u2014are crucial for their social wellbeing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a brand rooted in community and movement, lululemon is proud to create spaces where people can connect, move together, and engage in meaningful conversations about wellbeing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to Saudi Arabia, \u2018Together We Grow\u2019 events will be held across various cities, including Dubai, Doha, Bahrain and Kuwait City, bringing together an expected total of 4,000 participants across the region in honour of World Mental Health Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
