Chalhoub Group hosted a reception at the Diriyah Sales Center in Riyadh to celebrate its 70th anniversary under the theme Symphony of the Future.

This theme reflects the Group’s belief that success is not a solo performance, but a collective symphony: one played in harmony with its partners, communities, and the nations that have shaped its journey.

The celebration, held in a city that embodies Saudi Arabia’s dynamism and Vision 2030, was not only a tribute to the Group’s seven decades of legacy but also a heartfelt expression of gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with which Chalhoub Group has built deep-rooted and enduring ties.

Since its founding in 1955, Chalhoub Group has transformed from a family business into a regional leader with global impact. Its 70-year journey is one of resilience, innovation, and growth, evolving from representing a handful of maisons to becoming a long-term partner, brand builder, and co-creator of some of the Middle East’s most iconic luxury experiences.

From its origins in Damascus, the Group expanded through Beirut and Kuwait, before establishing its regional headquarters in Dubai, and later strengthening its presence in Saudi Arabia and across the wider Middle East.

This evolution reflects Chalhoub Group’s resilience and its ability to adapt to changing markets, reinvent itself, while remaining faithful to the values of excellence, respect, and entrepreneurial spirit that have defined it since the beginning.

Today, the Group operates in eight countries across the Middle East, as well as in 6 countries in Latin America and in the United States, through the expansion of its own brand, Level Shoes.  It continues to be guided by its purpose to build a future where luxury dreams become reality.

Among the attendees were H.E. Ahmed Al Khateeb, Minister of Tourism, Saudi Arabia, who commented: “Tourism is increasingly central to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, not only as a driver of economic diversification but also as a generator of opportunities for our people. In 2024, the Kingdom welcomed 116 million visitors, a 6% increase from the previous year, with tourism contributing 4.8% to national GDP.

Our aim is to reach 150 million visitors by 2030, further strengthening the sector’s impact on the country’s growth and prosperity.

Within this context, the luxury sector is playing a vital role — showcasing the Kingdom’s culture, creativity, and hospitality through world-class experiences.
