Minister of Communications and Information Technology Visits Jisr’s New Riyadh Headquarters and Reviews Its HR Technology Solutions

His Excellency Eng. Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, visited Jisr’s new headquarters in Riyadh yesterday, where he reviewed the company’s latest technology solutions designed to strengthen human resources management and enable Saudi organizations to manage their operations more efficiently, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

During the visit, His Excellency received a briefing on Jisr’s Saudi-built platform, developed specifically to address the needs of the local labor market. The platform is built around a deep understanding of Saudi regulations and legislation, enabling it to deliver intelligent solutions that support compliance, enhance the efficiency of human resources and financial management, and provide analytics and recommendations to support informed decision-making.

His Excellency also reviewed the platform’s integration with several key national systems, including the Saudi Labor System, the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI), the Wage Protection System (WPS), and the Qiwa and Mudad platforms. In addition, the platform supports Saudization requirements and end-of-service benefit management while adhering to data protection standards and ensuring data localization within the Kingdom. The platform also offers AI-powered capabilities that help organizations strengthen compliance, streamline payroll management, and support employees, reducing repetitive operational tasks and improving overall productivity.

Commenting on the visit, Jisr Founder and CEO Eng. Mohammed Akkar said that His Excellency’s visit reflects the Kingdom’s strong support for national technology companies. Akkar emphasized that Jisr continues to develop technology solutions originating from Saudi Arabia to serve the needs of the local labor market and help organizations improve operational efficiency through the responsible use of artificial intelligence.

Today, Jisr serves more than 5,000 HR and finance teams across Saudi Arabia and supports over 800,000 employees. The platform has processed payroll transactions exceeding SAR 10 billion. The company employs more than 400 people and has achieved annual growth exceeding 100%.

Jisr continues to execute its expansion strategy following its US$30 million Series A funding round led by Merak Capital in 2023. Over the past two years, the company has launched its Talent Suite and Spend Suite solutions and upgraded approximately 70% of its technology infrastructure, significantly increasing transaction processing capacity without increasing costs.

The company is also preparing to introduce a new portfolio of products and technology solutions as part of its strategy to support the future of work and accelerate digital transformation across the Kingdom.
