Makkah Youth Scouts Honor Dr. Hatem Al-Masoudi with Team Scarf and Gold Medal

The Makkah Youth Scouts Team, affiliated with the Neighborhood Centers Association, honored Dr. Hatem Abdullah Al-Masoudi, Executive Director of Corporate Communication at Kidana, by awarding him the team scarf and gold medal in recognition of his achievement in earning a PhD in Artificial Intelligence in Journalism.
The recognition took place during a ceremony attended by a distinguished group of scouting, media, and community figures, including Brigadier Al-Hassan Dardouri, Scout Leader Abdulmouli Mohammed Al-Fadhi from Morocco, Scout Leaders Abdulbasit Sahib Shaheed and Muath Sahib Shaheed from Pakistan, Sheikh Hassan Mahmoud, Scout Leader Burhan Hassan from Somalia, and Scout Leader Engineer Ahmed Mohammed Safi from Jordan, along with a number of academics, media professionals, and supporters of the scouting movement.
The ceremony featured a formal program that began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a welcome speech delivered by Scout Leader Engineer Ahmed Mohammed Safi. Scout Mohammed Mustafa Farhat then gave a presentation titled “Who We Are,” while Scout Ibrahim Suleiman Abkar delivered a presentation titled “Who is Hatem Al-Masoudi?”
The event also included speeches by several guests, among them Dr. Ahmed Abdulwahab Dahan, Osama Abdullah Zaitouni, Ahmed Wasfi Maqlan, and Consultant Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Menshi. In his speech, Dr. Hatem Al-Masoudi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to everyone who attended and contributed to the occasion, describing the recognition as deeply meaningful to him.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Menshi, accompanied by Scout Leader Othman Khalifa Madani, presented Dr. Al-Masoudi with the Makkah Youth Scouts Team scarf as well as the Saudi Founding Day Medal. Dr. Bandar Zaid Al-Amir also awarded him the team’s gold medal, which is presented to outstanding and distinguished contributors in society.
Dr. Al-Masoudi also presented gifts, provided by Raouf Mina for Hajj and Umrah Services, to scout leaders who came from Gulf, Arab, and Islamic countries to participate in the ceremony. The event also included the presentation of the commemorative medal of the Makkah Youth Scouts Team to a number of participating figures, before concluding with an exchange of commemorative gifts.
