Yango Group Celebrates Ramadan 2026 with Community-First Initiatives Across Mobility, Entertainment, and AI

Yango Group, the UAE-based global technology company, is marking the Holy Month of Ramadan 2026 with a series of initiatives across its integrated ecosystem.

Ramadan is one of the most defining moments in the region’s social and cultural calendar.

For Yango Group, it represents more than a seasonal occasion; it is a real-world expression of the company’s commitment to building technology that adapts to the rhythms of everyday life — reflecting Yango Group’s ecosystem approach, where mobility, entertainment, AI, and digital services are designed to evolve alongside shifting user behaviors, cultural moments, and regional lifestyles.

As Ramadan reshapes daily routines across the region, Yango Group is aligning its ecosystem to support the month’s distinct patterns — from how people move and unwind, to how families connect at home, and how brands engage with audiences.

Yango Play: A Star-Studded Ramadan 2026 Lineup

Yango Play welcomes Ramadan 2026 with its strongest drama lineup to date, headlined by a diverse slate of exclusive Arabic productions featuring some of the region’s most recognisable stars. With peak viewing hours concentrated after Iftar, when families gather to unwind and watch together, the Ramadan lineup is curated for shared evenings, reflecting how entertainment habits shift during the Holy Month. The season includes:

  • Exclusive: “Manna’a” — a suspense thriller led by Hend Sabry
  • Exclusive: “El-Nos El-Tani” — the return of Abdel Aziz El-Noss in new comedic adventures starring Ahmed Amin.
  • Exclusive: “Kan Ya Makan” — a comedy-drama starring Maged El-Kedwany
  • Exclusive: “Ein Sehreya” — a mystery-driven drama featuring Essam Omar
  • “Fan El Harb” — a gripping crime thriller headlined by Youssef El Sherif
  • “Little steps”-Ramadan 2026 also marks Yango Play’s first Gulf (Kuwaiti) production, “Little Steps,” a social family drama reflecting the platform’s continued investment in regional storytelling and locally resonant narratives.

Yango Play is enhancing its content offerings for Ramadan by partnering with the ART network. This collaboration will introduce new titles for the Holy Month, such as the Kuwaiti series “Drama Queen” and the Syrian series “Ana W Heya W Heya.” Additionally, the series “Fakhr El Delta” will be available on the platform throughout Ramadan and beyond.

Yango Ride: Supporting Drivers and Passengers During Ramadan

Across the UAE and Oman, Yango Ride is introducing Ramadan-focused features and community initiatives aimed at enhancing the experience for both passengers and partner drivers. As mobility patterns evolve during Ramadan — from adjusted schedules to late-night activity — Yango Ride’s efforts during the holy month are designed to reinforce the strength of our community for both passengers and drivers.

Throughout the month, Iftar boxes will be distributed to partner drivers across key UAE cities, reinforcing Yango’s commitment to driver wellbeing during Ramadan. The platform’s Muslim Mode will also be activated, offering prayer-time reminders, automatic muting of notifications during prayers, and Qibla direction support — helping ensure a more respectful and seamless experience for fasting passengers and drivers alike. In the UAE, Yango Ride is also introducing a dedicated Ramadan benefit for Fazza cardholders, providing discounts on rides to mosques throughout the Holy Month.

In Oman, Yango Ride continues its driver recognition initiatives, spotlighting partner drivers’ personal aspirations through the in-app “My Dreams” feature. The programme enables passengers to learn about drivers’ goals and contribute directly via tips, reflecting Yango’s broader commitment to mobility with impact.

Yango Yasmina: Voice-First Ramadan Features for the Home

Yango Group’s bilingual AI assistant Yango Yasmina is introducing new Ramadan features in Arabic and English, designed to support voice-first home routines. During Ramadan, home routines become more structured around prayer times, Iftar preparation, and family gatherings, making voice-first assistance particularly relevant throughout the day.

Now, users can ask Yango Yasmina about Ramadan dates, prayer timings and Iftar countdowns, request daily Ramadan tips, access curated audio content including Noor Dubai 93.9 as the default radio station, and enjoy a family-friendly Ramadan quiz with educational questions.

These updates complement Yango Yasmina’s existing Quran recitations, and other faith-related features, helping households stay organised, connected and spiritually engaged throughout the month.

Yango Ads: Data-Led Ramadan Insights for Brands

On the business side, Yango Ads will support brands with its Ramadan 2026 Demand Playbook, offering data-led insights into consumer behaviour across MENA during the Holy Month. Ramadan represents one of the most commercially significant periods of the year across MENA, marked by sharp shifts in consumer attention, purchase timing, and media consumption.

The playbook highlights peak engagement periods, content preferences and platform trends, helping advertisers optimize campaigns across retail, food, mobility and digital services when audiences are most active.

As competition for attention intensifies during Ramadan, the playbook positions early activation and sequenced, full-funnel planning as critical to converting seasonal engagement into measurable business outcomes.

Celebrating the Spirit of Ramadan

Ramadan is a time of reflection, generosity and togetherness. Through its integrated ecosystem, Yango Group continues to adapt its services to the moments that matter most to users, aligning technology with the cultural and behavioural rhythms that define everyday life across the region.
