New Murabba Showcases Riyadh’s Future Downtown at EXPO 2025 Osaka

New Murabba Development Company, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, participated in EXPO 2025 Osaka, presenting its vision for a smart, sustainable, and people-centered downtown for Riyadh.
The appearance highlighted how design, technology, and community value come together to enhance quality of life, alongside leadership sessions and meetings with Japanese and international partners and innovators to explore future collaboration.
Michael Dyke, Chief Executive Officer of New Murabba, delivered a keynote titled “Building the Future: From Vision to Reality,” and Carl Schibrowski, Chief Development Officer, joined a panel titled “Thriving Economy.” The discussions underscored New Murabba’s role as a leading destination shaping future cities through innovation, cultural identity, and economic transformation—positioning Riyadh as a global hub.
Commenting on the participation, Michael Dyke said: “Our goal is simple: create a place that is easy to live in, exciting to visit, and rewarding to build with. We believe the best cities are both human and high-tech—comfortable at street level and intelligent under the hood.” He also noted standout investment opportunities within the destination, including the Mukaab—an icon inspired by Salmani architecture—and a world-class stadium with more than 45,000 seats planned to host matches during the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
New Murabba aims to build a modern urban destination that makes everyday life easier and offers distinctive experiences for residents and visitors. Its participation at EXPO 2025 Osaka showcases Riyadh’s growing global momentum and aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives to advance livability and innovation.
