Al Zubair Finishes Second in Valencia, Concludes “Sprint” Season on a High Note

International driver Al Faisal bin Khalid Al Zubair successfully concluded the 2025 GT World Challenge Sprint Cup season, securing second place in the Gold Cup category during the final round at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia, Spain.

Al Zubair, alongside his teammate Jens Klingmann from the Al Manar Racing team, delivered a strong performance in their BMW “M4 GT3 Evo” to end their participation in the “Sprint” competitions in the best possible way.

Exceptional Performance and Continuous Progress

Despite facing challenges, particularly in the private practice sessions, the team’s performance improved significantly throughout the weekend, culminating in a fourth-place finish in Race 1 and a second-place finish in Race 2. This impressive showing in Valencia helped the Al Manar Racing team secure fourth place in both the Drivers’ and Teams’ championships for the “Sprint” Cup.

Commenting on the achievement, Al Faisal Al Zubair said: “This is a great end to the current season, especially with achieving second place in the second sprint race despite getting a 5-second penalty. This is my best season ever, and I feel my speed is constantly improving, which is very important.” He added: “I hope the final round in Barcelona, in the Endurance Cup, will be strong so we can achieve a win.”

The Al Manar Racing team will now conclude its successful 2025 GT World Challenge season at the final round of the Endurance Cup, which will take place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya from October 10-12.
