Gigamon Expands Regional Presence in Saudi Arabia, Brings AI-Powered Deep Observability Solutions to the Kingdom

Saudi telecom leader STC honored with a GigaHero award for advancing security and performance with the Gigamon Deep Observability Pipeline

Gigamon®, a global leader in deep observability, today announced the opening of a new office in Riyadh, strengthening its commitment to customers in Saudi Arabia and across the Middle East. This strategic expansion enables organizations across the Kingdom and the broader Middle East region to access the Gigamon Deep Observability Pipeline, addressing the critical need for complete visibility in an era of rapid AI adoption and digital transformation.

The company also announced Gigamon Insights, an agentic AI application purpose-built for network-derived telemetry that will deliver immediate guidance for Security and IT operations teams, the latest AI offering as the company continues to advance its AI vision.

The regional expansion comes as organizations across Saudi Arabia face mounting pressure to secure hybrid cloud infrastructure against increasingly sophisticated AI-powered threats while managing the explosive growth of AI workloads. According to the 2025 Hybrid Cloud Security Survey, 55 percent of global organizations report their current security tools are failing to detect modern threats, while one in three organizations report that network traffic has more than doubled due to AI workloads.

The company provides network-derived telemetry, including packets, flows, and application-aware metadata, directly to the cloud, security, and observability platforms that customers already trust. This powerful combination of network telemetry and MELT data delivers the deep observability today’s organizations need to secure and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure.

“With AI adoption accelerating and cyber threats growing more sophisticated, organizations across the Middle East are under pressure to secure and manage increasingly complex hybrid cloud environments,” said Shane Buckley, president and CEO at Gigamon.

“By expanding our presence in Riyadh, we are deepening our commitment to the region and delivering AI-powered deep observability. With network-derived telemetry from Gigamon, our customers achieve new levels of visibility and efficiency to strengthen security, reduce complexity, and realize greater return on their investments.”

Addressing Critical Visibility Gaps in the Kingdom

The establishment of the Saudi Arabia office directly addresses urgent market needs across the Middle East, particularly as AI is impacting organizations’ abilities to secure and manage infrastructure. Companies in the Kingdom face similar challenges, where nearly 40 percent of organizations remain unsure of their visibility into AI usage patterns.

“As Saudi Arabia accelerates its Vision 2030 digital transformation agenda, organizations require unprecedented visibility into their hybrid cloud infrastructure to secure against evolving threats,” said Damian Wilk, general manager for EMEA Emerging Markets at Gigamon. “Our expansion into the Kingdom demonstrates our commitment to providing local organizations with the deep observability capabilities they need to safely embrace AI innovation while maintaining robust cybersecurity postures.”

STC Honored as a GigaHero for Customer Excellence

The regional expansion supports the company’s growing customer base, including Saudi Telecom Company (STC), the largest telecom supplier in the Middle East, which was recognized as a GigaHero at the annual Gigamon Visualyze Bootcamp customer conference.

STC was recognized for its use of the Gigamon Deep Observability Pipeline, integrating with a powerful mix of security tools to secure and manage its hybrid cloud infrastructure.

“At STC, our commitment to leading the Kingdom’s digital transformation is guided by STC’s vision to be a world class digital leader providing innovative services and enabling a secure digital future,” said Ryain H. Rajihi, design director at STC Cybersecurity.

“The Our deep observability solution from Gigamon has proven instrumental in fortifying our defenses, safeguarding national infrastructure, and ensuring the delivery of trusted, high-quality services. Through this partnership, we continue to embody our core values: being agile, committed, and driven to create meaningful impact in everything we do.”

AI-Powered Deep Observability for Modern Challenges

In June, a multi-phase AI roadmap for the Gigamon Deep Observability Pipeline was outlined with AI to address shadow AI risk, strengthen cybersecurity, and enhance operational efficiency. The newest offering, Gigamon Insights, integrated into the Gigamon Deep Observability Pipeline, helps deliver faster investigations and root-cause analysis while maintaining data privacy through a flexible AI architecture that supports private or “bring-your-own” LLMs.

Its agentic interface enables Security and IT teams to use pre-defined prompts or craft free-form queries to run analyses, generate insights, and take action. At the core of these capabilities is Gigamon Application Metadata Intelligence (AMI), which enriches network-derived telemetry with application-level context, helping to ensure that the insights generated are both trusted and actionable.

Additional AI-powered solutions include:

  • AI Traffic Intelligence provides real-time visibility into GenAI and LLM activity from 35 leading engines, including ChatGPT, Gemini, and DeepSeek. For ease of integration, this intelligence is agentless and applies even to encrypted data in motion, surfacing shadow AI usage and enabling more effective, policy driven governance.
  • GigaVUE-FM Copilot is a GenAI-powered assistant embedded within GigaVUE-FM, to help organizations onboard, configure, manage, and troubleshoot their environments with greater speed and accuracy. It simplifies deployment and day-to-day operations through a natural language interface, reducing time to insight and improving productivity across Security, IT, and DevOps teams.

Availability and Future Roadmap

AI Traffic Intelligence is immediately available for all GigaVUE Cloud Suite customers in the region. GigaVUE-FM Copilot will be generally available in the fourth quarter of 2025. General availability of Gigamon Insights and launch partner integrations will be announced in the fourth quarter of 2025, with additional partner integrations to follow.
