Middle East Media Conduct Debut Test Drive of EXEED’s Entire New Energy Vehicle Lineup

EXEED hosted a “Performance Journey” test drive event for its entire new energy vehicle lineup at an international professional racetrack. Distributor representatives and media journalists from the Middle East convened at the venue to conduct test drives within two designated zones: the straight-line performance zone and the professional racetrack.
This provided them with the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the power, acceleration, and handling performance of models such as the EXLANTIX ES REEV, ET REEV, and EXEED VX PHEV.
The racetrack spans a total length of 3.20 kilometers. Its unique counterclockwise design incorporates 16 corners of varying speeds and radius, comprising 7 right turns and 9 left turns. The track follows the undulating terrain, featuring an elevation difference of up to 19 meters between its lowest and highest points. This layout is ideally suited for fully showcasing the vehicles’ performance characteristics during cornering and acceleration.
During the test drive event, the ES REEV, the brand’s first extended-range coupe, demonstrated exceptional straight-line acceleration capability, attributed to its ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.205 Cd and a maximum wheel-end torque output of 8000 N·m, resulting in an impressive 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.6 seconds.
While navigating challenging curves, the ES REEV’s advanced front double-wishbone and rear multi-link suspension configuration demonstrated superior dynamic performance and excellent body stability. Additionally, the ES features an active electric rear wing that adjusts automatically based on vehicle speed to provide rear axle downforce, which not only enhances high-speed stability and safety but also imparts a premium sporty aesthetic.
Equally noteworthy is the ET REEV, the first mid-to-large premium SUV in the EXLANTIX series. This SUV features a dedicated extended-range engine, generating a total powertrain output of 345 kW and demonstrating 0-100 km/h acceleration in a mere 4.8 seconds. Even in a charge-sustaining state, it retains the ability to achieve 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5.7 seconds. During cornering maneuvers on the track, the ET REEV demonstrated exceptional stability.
Its IAS intelligent air suspension and CDC electromagnetic damping system adjust the damping characteristics in real-time, effectively reducing body roll and ensuring the vehicle’s composure during high-speed cornering, thereby providing occupants with a secure and comfortable experience.

Additionally, the industry-leading REEV technology featured in both the ES and ET enables remarkable efficiency, converting one liter of fuel into 3.7 kWh of electricity, resulting in low fuel consumption. This ensures user mobility even in areas lacking charging infrastructure.
Notably, EXEED’s latest hybrid product, the VX PHEV, also performed exceptionally well during the test drive. Its four-engine powertrain delivers a combined power output of up to 619 Ps and a combined torque of 920 N·m, facilitating impressive 0-100 km/h acceleration performance in the 5-second range on the straight track.
Concurrently, the synergy between its chassis hydraulic vibration isolation system and ANC active noise cancellation effectively mitigates vehicle vibration and noise, ensuring the cabin maintains a serene environment of 35 dB even at highway speeds of 120 km/h. Thanks to the Flying Fish Super-Sense chassis and CDC electromagnetic variable damping shock absorbers, the vehicle’s attitude is precisely controlled, minimizing body roll during continuous cornering and significantly enhancing the VX PHEV’s stability and ride comfort.
The Middle East regions present complex and varied terrain, necessitating stringent demands on vehicle performance. With their powerful performance, exceptional handling, and comfortable ride experience, EXEED models are perfectly suited for the region’s challenging road conditions and variable climate.
Whether navigating urban streets, highways, or mountainous landscapes, EXEED provides local consumers with reliable mobility solutions. At the event, Malcolm Cooper, a distributor from Qatar, commented, “On the professional track, I experienced EXEED’s ultimate speed and braking, which conclusively proves they are Fantastic products.”
It is understood that, following the test drive events held at the Dubai and Zhejiang track in April, EXEED’s “Performance Journey” will continue globally. Subsequent events are planned for key markets in the Middle East, including Saudi, Kuwait and Qatar.
