To Discover”: The 3rd Saudi Tourism Forum Invites International Investment and Tourists to the Kingdom and to Explore Its Rich Culture

The third edition of the Saudi Tourism Forum was launched yesterday at Riyadh Front, in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, the Saudi Tourism Authority, and the Tourism Development Fund, under the theme “To Discover”.

The forum, held between January 7-9 2025, highlights new and distinctive tourist destinations in Saudi Arabia, offers innovative experiences for visitors, and explores the potential of the Kingdom’s diverse destinations.

This major industry event brings together a select group of experts, decision-makers, and entrepreneurs to showcase the latest innovations and opportunities in the Saudi tourism sector.

The forum will feature over 1000 meetings and workshops over three days, highlighting the latest trends and developments in the tourism sector.

The goal is to enhance understanding and knowledge of the tourism sector, with the participation of over 40 international keynote speakers and industry leaders to present the latest trends in the Saudi tourism sector.

The workshops will address the challenges and opportunities in the sector through various related topics, including presentations and rich discussions, in addition to promoting tourist destinations, services, and products. Training workshops will also be held to enhance the skills and professional capabilities of tourism specialists and help participants achieve the best results in their fields.

The forum will host over 450 leading tourism brands and more than 20 international organizations to learn about Saudi tourism and heritage, and to develop the tourism sector in the Kingdom, highlight the talents and investment opportunities available in the Kingdom, and reflect the growing confidence in the future of Saudi tourism.

It will also host a diverse group of attendees including businessmen, investors, VIPs, and officials, aiming to strengthen cooperation and partnership opportunities, in addition to the participation of several government agencies representing tourism and the development of tourist areas, such as the Diriyah Gate Development Authority, the Royal Commission for AlUla, the Red Sea Authority, Al-Madinah Region Development Authority, Al Ahsa Development Authority, Asser Region Development Authority, and Hail Region Development Authority.

The exhibitors list includes hospitality and hotel groups, destination management companies, government agencies, associations, tourism applications, airlines, transportation companies, training academies, travel supplies, and accelerators.

Engineer Hamza Nasser, CEO of 4M Events and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Forum, emphasized that: “The Saudi Tourism Forum is a unique platform to highlight the immense potential of the Kingdom in the tourism sector, and we aim through it to attract more investments, develop tourism products, and enhance the Kingdom’s position as a global tourist destination.

The forum highlights investment opportunities in Saudi tourism and aims to be the main reason for increasing the number of international tourists and investors to the Kingdom, in light of the increasing international interest in investing in the tourism sector. The third edition of the forum is distinguished by its focus on Saudi startups in the tourism sector through the provision of an investment center that provides investment opportunities to acquire and develop startup projects.”

This year, the forum launches at a time when visiting Saudi Arabia has become easier, smoother, more enjoyable, and safer than ever before, thanks to the huge investments and facilities provided, the number and types of visas issued to the country, and the advanced digital infrastructure.

It is worth noting that Saudi tourism has succeeded in recent years in increasing its contribution to the national GDP and creating new jobs for national cadres of both genders in various tourism sectors. Saudi Arabia is making efforts to upgrade the sector by increasing its contribution to the GDP to 10%, as well as targeting 100 to 150 million visits by 2030.

It is worth mentioning that the Saudi Tourism Forum has achieved remarkable achievements since its launch, highlighting the rich cultural heritage and distinctive tourist sites in the Kingdom.
