Menassah Distribution Company Provides Access to the Realms of Emirati Stories and Culture in Al Ain and Kuwait
Menassah Distribution Company is proud to be part of the ongoing celebration of the written word, reflecting the increasing cultural appreciation in the UAE and the wider region.
The company recently participated in the 15th edition of the Al Ain Book Festival, organised by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre, which ran from 17 to 20 November.
Simultaneously, it is showcasing its offerings at the Kuwait International Book Fair, which began on 20 November and continues until the 30th of the month.
Menassah’s participation in these two prestigious events forms a fundamental part of its ongoing efforts to support Emirati and Arab publishers, promote their publications through various cultural platforms, and provide added value to readers in the UAE and Kuwait.
Through these participations, the company reaffirms its commitment to fostering cultural bridges, promoting the literary heritage of the UAE, as well as enriching the culture of reading and expanding access to Arabic content for the widest possible audience of readers.
Amidst an atmosphere of intellectual creativity at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, Menassah showcased a curated selection of 1,186 titles at the Al Ain Book Festival.
The collection spanned a diverse array of Emirati books and topics, representing 65 local publishers and showcasing a total of 4,226 works. This impressive display highlighted the depth of Emirati and Arab literary talent, offering an insightful look at the rich and varied narratives of the UAE.
As part of its ongoing efforts, Menassah is bringing the rich heritage of Emirati and Arab storytelling to the Kuwait International Book Fair, one of the most prominent literary events in the Arab world.
At this prestigious gathering, the company is presenting 3,772 books to Kuwaiti readers, including 753 titles from the latest releases by 68 Emirati publishers, offering a vivid reflection of the cultural richness and diversity that defines the UAE’s literary landscape.
His Excellency Rashid Al Kous, General Manager of Menassah Distribution Company, expressed the company’s pride in participating in these two significant cultural events, reaffirming its commitment to supporting Emirati and Arab publishers and authors while enhancing their presence across key book sales and distribution platforms locally, regionally, and globally.
