The J7 PHEV long-distance challenge was an international marathon journey across seven countries, bringing together renowned media from Italy,  Malaysia,  Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Turkey, and the UK while attracting the attention of global car enthusiasts online.

The long-test vehicle departed from Guangzhou on October 16, covering a distance of 1,300 kilometers. It traversed urban streets and highways, heading north for two days and one night, and arrived in Wuhu on the afternoon of the 17th.

It is worth mentioning that this challenge aimed to replicate the actual usage conditions of users as closely as possible. Each J7 PHEV in the test carried 3 to 4 passengers, increasing the vehicle’s weight.

This undoubtedly added difficulty to the challenge of achieving a range of 1,300 kilometers, given that the J7 PHEV was already rated for 1,200 kilometers. The success of this challenge is the strongest testament to the exceptional range of the J7 PHEV!

Challenge Arrived: Comprehensive Range Test Achieves 1353 KM

In the challenge, the J7 PHEV reached a maximum combined range of 1353 km without additional refueling, showcasing its impressive long-range capabilities and reaffirming its leading position in the new energy sector. 

Remarkably low fuel consumption at just 3.3L/100km.

During the testing period, the J7 PHEV achieved a remarkable fuel consumption of just 3.3 liters per 100 kilometers in a depleted state, which is 2.6 liters lower than the rated 5.99 liters, showcasing exceptional fuel efficiency. In this test, the J7 PHEV maintained a depleted state after initially being fully charged for use in EV scenarios.

This serves as the best proof of the vehicle’s dual functionality. Users can treat it as an electric vehicle during city commutes, enjoying the smooth and seamless driving experience of a pure electric car.

In this long-distance test, the J7 PHEV achieved a pure electric range of 125.2 km, significantly surpassing the previously announced 90 km, with an actual achievement rate of 139%. This exceeded expectations and highlighted the potential for pure electric driving.

During the test, the J7 PHEV displayed excellent acceleration performance in pure electric mode, with smooth power output delivering powerful performance from a standstill and easily navigating through city traffic.
