inDrive Collaborates with The Charity Institution “Zahrat el Hayah” to Support Drivers with Disabilities
inDrive, the ride hailing application no.1 in Egypt, Collaborated with The Charity institution “ Zahrat el Hayah” for Disabled people to launch the second phase of “Disabled drivers welfare program” by organizing an event in the headquarter of inDrive in Cairo.
The event was attended by The head of The institution Ahmed El Abady and 15 disabled drivers who achieved high no. of Trips on the application . During the event inDrive offered training sessions on how to improve their rate on app.
At the event, it was announced that following its mission of fighting social injustice, as well as in order to support its drivers with disabilities, the company decided to cancel the service fee completely for one quarter. Thus, these drivers can either increase their income by working the same time as before, or maintain their income level by completing fewer orders.,
This collaboration aimed also to recruit a large number of drivers from Zahrat El Hayah institution with different disabilities to join the platform and enlarge the scale of the program, inDrive is facilitating the registration for these drivers and following up for their inquiries and requests.
According to internal data, drivers with physical disabilities are among the most customer-oriented and responsible, they have a high average rating that passengers leave them.

The company therefore encourages licensed drivers with physical disabilities who want to join the platform, to write to the company’s support service.
inDrive managers will conduct a personal consultation on how to use the service to earn money.
It’s worth mentioning inDrive supports people with disabilities in the framework of non-profit sports projects via your pace in collaboration with Cairo runners the Unstoppable race, which took place in Egypt in December and brought together 650 participants, and launched this program in Morocco in December 2023.
