ROSHN announces SAR 30 million contribution to Ehsan National Platform for Charitable Work
• ROSHN has renewed its agreement with the National Platform for Charitable Work (Ehsan) with a contribution of SAR 30 million
• ROSHN plans to expand its CSR initiatives to education, innovation, and sustainability, alongside its existing programs in renovation, public health, community sports, support for people with disabilities, training, and empowerment
ROSHN Group, Saudi Arabia’s leading real estate developer and a PIF-owned giga project, has announced its renewed commitment to support the National Campaign for Charitable Work in 2024 through the National Platform for Charitable Work, ‘Ehsan’. The campaign was launched under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who donated 40 million. This was followed by a 30 million donation from His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Subsequently, ROSHN Group announced its contribution of SAR 30 million towards the campaign.
ROSHN’s partnership with Ehsan, now in its second consecutive year, reflects the group’s commitment to its values of empowerment and sustainability and its active contribution to supporting leading national initiatives and programs aimed at empowering the community, improving quality of life, and achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in promoting and institutionalizing social responsibility and empowering the non-profit sector.
This contribution further complements a year marked by impactful and distinctive initiatives carried out by ROSHN’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, YUHYEEK, and the Ehsan platform. This included the support of more than 27 initiatives implemented in 7 regions across the Kingdom, in collaboration with dozens of third-party entities. The programs involved the renovation of 100 homes in various cities of the Kingdom, supporting the national breast cancer campaign, mobile clinics, dialysis machines, in addition to several programs to empower and support people with disabilities, food preservation projects, which benefitted more than 37,000 beneficiaries across the Kingdom.
Ghada AlRumayan, Group Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at ROSHN Group, explained that ROSHN takes pride in actively participating in this campaign, reflecting the group’s interest in contributing to improving quality of life in its projects and society as a whole and its commitment as one of the major giga-projects in the Kingdom. The launch of the YUHYEEK program is celebrating its second anniversary today, which is evidence of the group’s commitment to supporting community development, enabling sustainability, and activating responsible investment in people and places in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
