Makkah Youth Scouts Honor Saeed Al-Ghamdi at Special Ramadan Iftar
The Makkah Youth Scouts Team organized a special Ramadan iftar in honor of Mr. Saeed bin Ali bin Jamaan Al-Ghamdi, recognizing his longstanding contributions to sports and scouting.
Al-Ghamdi is a former director of the General Presidency of Youth Welfare offices in Al-Baha and Makkah, and a former Secretary-General of both the Saudi and Arab Football Federations. He is also known as one of the veteran supporters of the scouting movement.

The event brought together a distinguished group of sports officials, scout leaders, media representatives, and community figures in an atmosphere filled with appreciation and remembrance.
The ceremony included Qur’an recitation, welcome speeches, presentations about the Makkah Youth Scouts Team and the honoree’s career, as well as traditional Hijazi performances and remarks from guests representing the scouting, sports, and media communities.
In his speech, Al-Ghamdi expressed his sincere thanks to the organizers, saying the recognition reflected the true scouting values of loyalty, sincerity, and kindness.

At the end of the evening, he was awarded the Golden Sash of the Makkah Youth Scouts Team, the Medal of Excellence and Creativity, and a number of commemorative gifts and shields in recognition of his service and achievements.
