Emirati businessman Hasan Abdullah Ismaik has contributed AED 100 million in support of the “Mother of the Nation Endowment for Orphans” campaign, launched by the Endowments and Minors’ Funds Authority – Awqaf Abu Dhabi under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.

The campaign aims to establish a sustainable endowment funding source dedicated to supporting orphans across the UAE. This contribution comes amid the strong engagement the campaign has received from across the community, reflecting the deeply rooted values of giving and solidarity within UAE society.

It also reinforces ongoing efforts to establish a long-term support system that ensures a more stable future and improved quality of life for orphans through a sustainable endowment model that delivers lasting humanitarian impact.

Hasan Abdullah Ismaik said: “I am honored to be part of this humanitarian model established by the late His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, carried forward by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the “Mother of the Nation”, and continued today under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The launch of the “Mother of the Nation Endowment for Orphans” embodies the authentic spirit of giving by caring for thousands of children and empowering them to become a source of positive impact and contribution to their community.

It is an approach rooted in humanitarian principles and values that have become a guiding light for us, laid by His Highness Sheikh Zayed, forming a lasting legacy of generosity and humanitarian values across generations.

May God protect the UAE and its leadership, and may its path of goodness and humanity continue.”
