Notion Launches in Arabic, Marking First Major Product Investment in the Middle East
Notion, the connected AI workspace used by over 100 million people worldwide, today announced that its platform will be available in Arabic starting January 26, 2026. The launch marks Notion’s first major product investment in the Middle East, responding directly to strong organic adoption and sustained requests from its growing community across the region.
Arabic support will be available across Notion’s core experience, including desktop and mobile apps, homepage, and key website sections, making it easier for teams, founders, and creators in Arabic-speaking countries to build and collaborate in their preferred language.
“The Middle East has emerged as one of our most engaged communities, as the region’s vibrant startup ecosystem and rapid digital transformation have made it a natural fit for Notion’s flexible, AI-powered approach to work,” said Mick Hodgins, GM EMEA, Notion. “We now have millions of users across the region who have adopted Notion to build startups, manage teams, and create their life’s work.
Arabic support is a foundation for what comes next, as we deepen our commitment to the region and the teams building the future here.”
Strong foundations, built by the community
Notion’s decision to invest in Arabic reflects years of community-led growth across the region, including:
- Millions of users across the Middle East, including hundreds of thousands in the UAE.
- Customers in the region include Emirates Foundation and Emirates Investment Bank.
- 1,000+ startups in the UAE have taken part in Notion’s Startups Program.
On-the-ground commitment
To mark the launch, Notion hosted a Make with Notion Showcase event in Dubai last week, bringing together local founders, creators, and community members. The event underscores Notion’s focus on engaging directly with its regional community, beyond a digital product release.
Arabic language support reflects how teams, founders, and creators across the Middle East already work—often moving between languages, markets, and audiences. With Arabic now available, Notion removes friction from collaboration and makes its workspace feel more intuitive for Arabic-speaking users.
Users can easily switch to Arabic by updating their preferred language in Settings within the Notion app, or at the bottom of the Notion website. With this launch, Notion is now available in 21 languages worldwide.
