ADAM PORT ANNOUNCED FOR FIRST EVER PODIUM PARTY AT THE FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX
Podium to Park presented by Sting offers fans the chance to catch superstar DJ Adam Port
The new experience also offers fans chance to walk the iconic Yas Marina Circuit to Katy Perry’s Emirates NBD After-Race Concert at Etihad Park just after the F1 Season Finale
On December 7, the Formula 1® Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will crown the 75th World Drivers’ Champion under the lights at Yas Marina Circuit. With the championship fight going down to the wire, celebrations will be momentous.
After the race ends, the gates of the Main, West, South and Marina Grandstands will open, inviting fans onto the track to be part of the trophy lift and podium celebrations. Soundtracking this moment is Adam Port, the Berlin-based DJ, producer and one-third of the Keinemusik trio.
Port fuses house and techno with dub, dancehall, rap, soul and psychedelic rock, performing everywhere from Ibiza to Coachella and Burning Man.
After the podium celebration, fans can continue their Podium to Park presented by Sting experience by walking along the track to Etihad Park and keep the party going as Katy Perry delivers her electrifying performance at the final Emirates NBD After-Race Concert.
Across the weekend, Yas Marina Circuit and Etihad Park will host the strongest entertainment line-up in the event’s history.
Benson Boone opened the After-Race Concerts on Thursday, followed by Post Malone with support from Elyanna on Friday, with Metallica playing Saturday and Katy Perry closing the weekend on Sunday. The wider programme also features special sets from Idris Elba and Calvin Harris, adding to a citywide celebration of global music talent.
