Huawei Launches Upgraded AI Data Lake Solution for the Middle East and Central Asia, Empowering Intelligent Industry Transformation

During GITEX 2025, Huawei held the Innovative Data Storage Summit in Dubai. The summit gathered customers and partners from multiple countries across the Middle East and Central Asia to exchange insights on the trends and best practices of data infrastructure development in the AI era.

At the event, Fu Xiao, President of Huawei Enterprise Data Storage Marketing and Solution Sales Department, officially unveiled Huawei’s upgraded AI Data Lake Solution for the Middle East and Central Asia region.

Huawei also introduced several key innovations:

  • OceanStor A600, a dedicated storage system for AI inference scenarios, featuring “long-memory inference” capabilities. It efficiently supports large-scale model training and multi-round inference, delivering outstanding performance in applications such as medical imaging, industrial quality inspection, and smart education, and achieving powerful, fast, and efficient inference.
  • OceanStor Pacific 9926, an all-flash distributed storage system designed for massive data scenarios, offering a 1:1 HDD replacement with significantly improved performance and energy efficiency at the same capacity.
  • Huawei OceanCyber Data Security Solution, which establishes a full-lifecycle data protection platform based on three core mechanisms — unified detection, collaborative defense, and recovery drills.
  • DME (Omni-Dataverse) Unified Data Space, which leverages technologies such as data cataloging, data lineage, and intelligent tiering to visualize, manage, and dynamically mobilize data at the exabyte scale.

Through its upgraded AI Data Lake Solution, Huawei aims to build a robust, intelligent data foundation featuring data acceleration, resilience, and intelligent management, empowering digital and intelligent transformation across all industries in the AI era.
