Genesis officially introduces its Genesis Connected Services (GCS) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, marking a new era of intelligent mobility that blends cutting-edge technology with the brand’s signature luxury ethos.
Genesis Connected Services (GCS) has been launched as part of a wider regional rollout, in line with global Genesis standards, to deliver a premium and consistent experience tailored to the Middle East. Thoughtfully adapted to meet the safety, security, and lifestyle expectations of regional drivers, GCS seamlessly integrates into the lives of modern motorists. Offering an advanced suite of features centered on convenience, safety, and control, the service enhances every touchpoint of the Genesis ownership journey.
Starting October 15, 2025, Genesis drivers in Saudi Arabia will have access to Genesis Connected Services through roaming partnerships for a limited four-month period, running until February 2026.
GCS is available on select models such as the G80, Electrified G80, GV60, GV70, Electrified GV70, GV80, and GV80 Coupe, GCS reflects Genesis’ vision for intuitive luxury by offering drivers access to remote controls, real-time diagnostics, enhanced security protocols, and AI-powered navigation — all accessible via the Genesis app.

Seamless Entry and Effortless Control
At the core of GCS is Digital Key 2.0, which enables keyless access and ignition via smartphone or smartwatch, removing the need for a traditional key fob. From locking and unlocking to starting the engine, convenience begins before the journey even starts.
Comfort On Demand
Remote climate control allows drivers to start their vehicle, cool or heat the cabin, and activate ventilated seats in advance, ensuring a perfectly tailored environment upon entry. The system supports cooling for up to 30 minutes, giving drivers ample time to prepare the vehicle before departure – even in extreme temperatures. Windows, doors, and charging controls for electric models can also be managed directly through the app.
Enhanced Safety and Peace of Mind
The GCS app includes features such as Valet Mode, Offline Mode, and Rear Occupant Alerts, designed to safeguard passengers and protect sensitive data. Security extends to real-time theft alerts, anti-theft alarms, and UAE eCall emergency support. A built-in dashcam, exclusive to the UAE, further reinforces safety by recording trips and providing access to footage via the app.
Intelligent Navigation and Voice Integration
GCS incorporates server-based routing, real-time traffic data, and Google POI to ensure optimal navigation. Drivers can even send a destination directly from the mobile app to the vehicle, allowing the route to be ready before they step inside. Voice command capabilities allow drivers to control everything from navigation to seat ventilation and window operation, using natural language for a hands-free, seamless experience.
Real-Time Monitoring and Diagnostics
The Genesis Connected Services app provides access to live vehicle status, fuel and battery levels, tire pressure, and maintenance alerts. Over-the-air (OTA) software updates use wireless communication to download and install the latest improvements, keeping the vehicle current while enhancing performance, stability, and introducing new features – all without visiting a service center. Weather integration further supports smarter, safer driving in all conditions, and updates can be easily initiated from the infotainment screen after driving.
Localization for Middle Eastern Customers
GCS also offers localized features tailored to the Middle East, including an Al Qibla Direction App to help drivers find the correct prayer direction and customized welcome screens and backgrounds during seasonal events such as Ramadan.
