From Newsrooms to Academia: Saudi Writer Al-Mazmoumi Completes Master’s in Media and PR

Al-Mazmoumi Al-Harbi has earned a Master’s degree in Public Relations and Media from Lancaster University in the United Kingdom, marking a new milestone in his distinguished academic and professional journey.
Born on June 10, 1975, Al-Mazmoumi is a prominent figure in the Saudi media landscape. He has worked with several leading newspapers, including Al-Youm and Al-Madina, and currently serves as a correspondent for Khaleej Al-Deira in Dammam and Al-Khobar, in addition to contributing as a writer for Makkah newspaper.
In December 2024, during the Jeddah International Book Fair, Al-Mazmoumi released his second book, “Traces on the Edge of Pain”, a 260-page volume highlighting the experiences of renowned Saudi figures in literature, arts, and media, alongside national, social, and cultural essays.
The achievement of his Master’s degree was warmly celebrated by his family, colleagues, and peers in the media field, who expressed pride in his accomplishments and wished him continued success in his academic journey, including pursuing a PhD in the future.
