Saudi Arabia Marks 95th National Day with Landmark Digital and Cybersecurity Achievements
This year’s National Day, themed “Our Pride is in Our Nature,” highlights Saudi Arabia’s steadfast commitment to innovation, resilience, and national advancement.
The occasion reflects the Kingdom’s rich heritage of generosity, ambition, and unity while emphasizing its strategic investments in information technology and cybersecurity, which have become key drivers of economic growth, technological innovation, and global competitiveness.
Digital Innovation Driving Vision 2030
Under Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia has accelerated its digital transformation, placing cybersecurity at the heart of sustainable economic growth. From smart cities and AI-powered industries to cloud-first government services, the Kingdom is building a secure digital infrastructure that fuels innovation, supports economic diversification, and sets new regional and global benchmarks.

Leading the World in Cybersecurity
Saudi Arabia recently topped the 2025 IMD World Digital Competitiveness Ranking for cybersecurity, reflecting its commitment to creating a secure and resilient digital environment.
The Kingdom’s cybersecurity market reached SAR 15.2 billion by the end of 2024, achieving 14 percent year-on-year growth, with the private sector contributing 68 percent of total spending.
The sector now employs over 21,000 specialists, including 32 percent women, surpassing global averages and highlighting the Kingdom’s commitment to nurturing national talent and expanding female participation in advanced technology roles.
