OSOOL REAL ESTATE ACHIEVES LEED GREEN BUIDLING CERTIFICATIONS FOR ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN

Osool Integrated Real Estate Company, a leading player in the investment and management of real estate assets, has proudly announced that three of its landmark properties have been awarded globally recognized LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certifications.

This major achievement underscores Osool’s commitment to environmental sustainability and aligns with Saudi Arabia’s national agenda to reduce carbon emissions as part of Saudi Vision 2030.

LEED certification, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, is the world’s most widely used green building rating system. It provides a comprehensive framework for designing buildings that are energy-efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible.

Among Osool’s awarded projects, Granada Business received the LEED Platinum Certification, placing it among the highest-performing green buildings worldwide. The development was recognized for its exceptional energy and water efficiency, integration of smart systems, waste reduction, use of sustainable materials, and enhancement of indoor environmental quality.

At the same time, Digital City and Olaya Towers earned LEED Gold Certifications, further reinforcing Osool’s leadership in sustainable urban development.

Commenting on the certifications, Eng. Ziad Al Hazmi, Acting CEO and Chief Strategy Officer at Osool, stated: “At Osool, we are deeply committed to the principles of sustainability and green building, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and national carbon reduction strategies.

Achieving LEED Platinum for Granada Business and LEED Gold for Digital City and Olaya Towers reflects our belief that real estate goes beyond building structures, it’s about creating smarter, more resilient communities. These milestones serve as a testament to our determination to build a sustainable legacy and to lead the way in responsible urban development within the Kingdom.”

These achievements cap off a landmark year for Osool in 2025, during which the company also earned the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Certification and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Certification. These accolades highlight Osool’s adherence to global standards of excellence and its commitment to embedding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles across its operations.

By applying measurable sustainability targets across its real estate portfolio, Osool is actively contributing to the Kingdom’s transition to green energy and helping realize its ambitious emissions reduction goals under Vision 2030.
