Led by HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman… Preparations Begin for the General Aviation Exhibition “Sand & Fun 2025”
His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Founder and Chairman of the Saudi Aviation Club, chaired an official meeting attended by H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Fahad Al-Fahaid, General Supervisor of the Club, during which the executive plans and accompanying airshow programs for the general aviation exhibition “Sand & Fun 2025” were approved.
HRH Prince Sultan emphasized that “Sand & Fun” serves as a comprehensive national platform that combines aerial entertainment, educational innovation, and interactive experiences. The event reinforces the Kingdom’s position as a regional and global hub for general aviation, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 goals in tourism, education, and local content development.
He also noted the special significance of this year’s edition, as it coincides with the 25th anniversary of the Saudi Aviation Club, marking a milestone moment that reflects the sector’s growth and the empowerment journey led by the Club since its establishment.
The “Sand & Fun 2025” exhibition will take place from 25 to 29 November 2025 at Al Thumamah Airport in Riyadh. It will feature live airshows, both daytime and nighttime, youth and children’s experiential zones, innovation and technology pavilions, and investor platforms. The exhibition aims to foster local and international collaboration across the aviation sector.
During the meeting, HRH Prince Sultan called for strengthening national partnerships and involving key stakeholders from the education, training, entertainment, and technology sectors to ensure the success of this national event. The exhibition showcases Saudi Arabia’s organizational capabilities and opens new horizons for future generations in aviation.
The Saudi Aviation Club is the official authority leading the general aviation sector in the Kingdom. Established in 2000 by Cabinet decision, the Club promotes general aviation culture, supports national talent, and organizes initiatives with educational and entertainment value.
