L’Oréal Saudi Arabia hosted the Kingdom’s first-of its kind Skin Summit – a gathering designed to elevate the region’s skincare content ecosystem by connecting content creators with cutting-edge scientific knowledge, platform mastery, and skincare expertise. Held at Riyadh Arena, the summit convened over 400 content creators —marking a powerful cross-sector collaboration with Nahdi, ArabyAds, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, and Meta to shape the future of skincare storytelling in the Kingdom.
With Saudi Arabia’s digital influence growing—[1]99% internet penetration and nearly half the population under 30—the summit tapped into a rising demand for credible, science-based beauty content. As one of the region’s most influential markets for creator-led beauty, the Kingdom presents fertile ground for redefining how skincare is communicated and consumed. Against this backdrop, the Group reaffirmed its commitment to education and innovation by equipping the next generation of beauty creators with expert knowledge and hands-on experience. Supporting this journey, ArabyAds has been a key partner to manage our creator collaboration.
L’Oréal’s €1 billion annual R&I investment translates into personalized skincare solutions. Global experts led sessions on key topics, addressing skin concerns in the region like pigmentation, UV protection, and acne, while also offering insights on ingredient education and global-to-local skincare perspectives. These discussions highlighted L’Oréal’s science-first approach and its dedication to developing dermatologist-approved, high-performance solutions for a wide range of skin concerns.[2] For Saudi consumers—particularly Gen Z—product suitability is the top driver when choosing skincare and makeup, signaling a rising demand for personalization and more informed beauty choices. This growing sophistication closely aligns with L’Oréal’s focus on science-led, tailored solutions.
The summit blended keynotes, expert-led workshops, and peer networking to deliver both inspiration and skill-building. Highlights included Nahdi’s on-ground activation offering pharmacy-driven product guidance and consultations; L’Oréal’s “Science Behind Beauty” panel unpacking R&I insights for creator education; Snapchat’s “Snap School” on AR-driven skincare content; Meta’s masterclass on AI’s role in beauty content; TikTok’s gamified content zone and CapCut tutorial; and YouTube’s Shorts café, featuring hands-on content creation and growth strategies.
The event also featured brand booth activations from flagship lines including L’Oréal Paris, Garnier, La Roche-Posay, Vichy, CeraVe, and SkinCeuticals, offering ingredient demos, product sampling, and science-backed content opportunities designed for creator engagement.
Olfa Messaoudi, Chief Digital Marketing Officer of L’Oréal Middle East, said:
“With this first-of-its-kind event in Riyadh, we are bridging global scientific excellence with local talent and creativity. We believe that empowering content creators with credible knowledge is the key to transforming skincare conversations in the region, not just in how beauty is portrayed, but in how it is understood. “This summit also laid the foundation for more forward-thinking, meaningful relationships with content creators in the region – rooted in trust, education, and a shared commitment to credible, science-driven storytelling.”
