Lilly appoints Mostafa Abdelrahman as President and General Manager of its regional headquarter in Saudi Arabia

Lilly announced the appointment of Mostafa Abdelrahman as President and General Manager for the Regional Headquarter (RHQ) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), underscoring the company’s continued commitment to advancing healthcare innovation and improving patient outcomes across the country and the broader region.
Abdelrahman has a distinguished career spanning more than 17 years at Lilly, including three years as a national sales director in KSA, which is also where his professional journey began as a medical sales representative. He brings extensive experience in leadership across sales, marketing, ethics and compliance, and business transformation. His appointment comes at a pivotal time as Lilly deepens its partnerships in KSA’s rapidly transforming healthcare ecosystem.

Mostafa most recently served as Associate Vice President of International Marketing Capabilities in the International Business Unit of Lilly in the United States, where he led transformative initiatives in omnichannel engagement and the application of artificial intelligence to enhance customer interactions.
His leadership has driven meaningful innovation across key Lilly international markets, including Japan, China, and Europe. He is also widely recognized for his inclusive leadership approach. Mostafa holds a bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical science from Cairo University.
