ALEC FITOUT Invests to Scale Saudi Team 10x to Cater to Museum & Cultural, Luxury Hotel and Themed Entertainment Boom

Since entering the Saudi market, ALEC FITOUT has successfully secured large scale projects in its core sectors of luxury hospitality fitout, themed entertainment, museums and cultural attractions. As demand surges across the Kingdom, the company is significantly scaling its operations—investing in a tenfold increase in its Saudi team and expanding its regional production capacity to support project delivery.
With its current management staff count at 160, ALEC FITOUT is enhancing its capabilities through a blend of local talent and global expertise, bringing in-house mastery of complex turnkey delivery, and adopting emerging technologies such as robotics for automation, AI tools, and sustainable material integration.
“Saudi Arabia is undergoing a cultural and creative renaissance, and the pace of development is unprecedented,” said Laurent Farge, Managing Director, ALEC FITOUT. “More than 25 museums are planned across the Kingdom, with culture and heritage playing a central role in Vision 2030.
Our dedicated in-house team—specialists in museum and experiential delivery—collaborate closely with global partners to provide end-to-end solutions for the most intricate and ambitious projects. And with 362,000 new hotel rooms expected by 2030 and major global events on the horizon including Expo 2030 and the FIFA World Cup, the opportunity is extraordinary. The entertainment sector alone is forecast to reach SAR36 billion in consumer spending by 2030. This is a defining moment, and we’re proud to be part of it.”
ALEC FITOUT’s footprint in Saudi Arabia has grown rapidly, with seven of its 15 active regional projects currently underway in the Kingdom. Among them is the Qiddiya Aquarabia waterpark, where the company is delivering over 150,000m² of hyper-realistic theming including rockwork, sculptural elements and scenography.
On the Red Sea coast, ALEC FITOUT is responsible for architectural fit-out works at the Red Sea Marine Life Institute, alongside the ultra-luxury Six Senses Amaala resort, which blends contemporary design with local heritage across 125 keys. In Riyadh, ALEC FITOUT is delivering the design and build works at the new W Hotel in the King Abdullah Financial District, where its scope is the complete architectural fit-out, MEP and specialist systems tailored to the brand’s distinct aesthetic.
“We’ve stayed true to our core focus—delivering complex, high-end projects in museum and culture, luxury hospitality and themed entertainment,” Farge added. “Our strategy and vision is allowing us to push boundaries of what’s possible in design, delivery and sustainability. Above all, we’re here for the long run—investing in the Kingdom, for the Kingdom.”
