NEO SPACE GROUP WELCOMES MARK DICKINSON AS CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER (CTO)
Neo Space Group (NSG), a PIF company and Saudi Arabia’s leading provider of commercial space services, proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Mark Dickinson as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
With over 25 years of expertise in satellite communications, he is set to drive NSG’s technological innovations and strengthen its position as a key enabler in the space industry.
Dickinson has held pivotal leadership roles at Inmarsat and Viasat, where he spearheaded advancements in satellite technologies. His portfolio includes managing a fleet of 15 geostationary satellites, overseeing approximately $1 billion in spacecraft and launch procurement, and leading the acquisition of Onesat, Airbus’ pioneering software-defined satellite.
His collaborations with industry giants such as Boeing and Lockheed Martin have significantly enhanced global satellite capabilities and promoted sustainable space operations.

During his tenure at Inmarsat, Dickinson directed the design, procurement, and deployment of future-ready space assets. Inmarsat’s innovative work with Aramco on precision navigation spacecraft and 4G network augmentation demonstrates his ability to fuse cutting-edge technology with practical applications.
As Chairman of the Space Data Association, he championed space safety and sustainability initiatives, earning recognition as a visionary leader in the industry.

Under Dickinson’s leadership, NSG aims to expand its capabilities in satellite communications, geospatial services, and Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) solutions. He will also steer the company’s investments in cutting-edge space technologies, advancing NSG’s mission to deliver disruptive solutions for global markets.
Since its inception in May 2024, NSG has achieved remarkable milestones, solidifying its position as a leader in the space industry. Its In-Flight Connectivity (IFC) solution delivers high-speed connectivity of up to 200 Mbps through advanced multi-orbit satellite technology, supported by strategic partnerships with Turkish Airlines and Thai Airways.
The acquisition of Taqnia ETS and Airbus’ UP42 platform has further strengthened NSG’s geospatial division, enabling complex Earth observation and data analytics capabilities.
These achievements, alongside collaborations with institutions such as King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), highlight NSG’s commitment to fostering innovation and developing local expertise.
