Electromin: Pioneering E-Mobility and Leading the Charge in Global Electrification
Electromin, the first Saudi company to emerge as a global leader in the electrification sector, proudly marks its participation in the annual EV Autoshow for the third consecutive year, held in Al Riyadh.
Demonstrating its solid footing in the e-mobility landscape, Electromin continues to offer cutting-edge solutions to clients worldwide while significantly contributing to the success of government initiatives promoting sustainable transportation.
As a testament to its international reach, Electromin has become one of the top three Charge Point Operators in India, the world’s second-largest EV market.
This milestone showcases the company’s ability to manage extensive networks effectively and efficiently, not only in Saudi Arabia but also globally.
It was achieved through signing an exclusive agreement with HPCL India earlier this year to operate its charger network, leveraging 22,000 fuel stations across the Indian market.
In Saudi Arabia, Electromin continues to lead with the largest public charging network, boasting over 100 locations, all accessible through the Electromin app.
This app is the first of its kind in the Kingdom, recently upgraded to offer advanced features like a wallet and optional vehicle information.
These enhancements simplify the charging process, ensuring a seamless experience for customers. Additionally, the company has recently entered into strategic partnerships, including an agreement with Rotana WF to install 16 public chargers along the 4 km Jeddah Corniche.
Electromin’s dedication to reducing carbon emissions extends to commercial vehicles as well. Its sister company, NTSC, has signed a multi-year decarbonization agreement with SBT, starting with the delivery of four electric trucks supplied by Electromin.
This initiative underscores the company’s drive to transform commercial transportation into a more sustainable model, aligning with global efforts to reduce the environmental impact of vehicular emissions.
Reflecting on these developments, Kalyana Sivagnanam, GCEO of Electromin, remarked, “Our journey in the electrification sector is marked by strategic growth and innovation.
By expanding our network globally and enhancing the customer experience, we are not just building infrastructure but shaping the future of sustainable transportation.”
Mark Notkin, CIO of Electromin, added, “Our success in becoming a top Charge Point Operator in a market as vast as India is a testament to our commitment to operational excellence and our ability to meet the growing demands of the e-mobility sector.
We continue to innovate and deliver solutions that support the global transition to electric vehicles.”
Electromin’s consistent participation in the EV Autoshow highlights its ongoing support for government initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable transportation.
By aligning with Saudi Arabia’s vision, Electromin contributes to the goal of achieving net-zero emissions and reducing carbon emissions by 278 million tons annually by 2030.
