Omareyah Schools Launch Innovative Initiative for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers with Kalemon

In an effort to enhance language education, Omareyah Schools recently hosted an informative session for parents about their innovative educational programs within the international curriculum.

Led by Dr. Riham Al-Attar and educational supervisor Ms. Tasneem Al-Dabuqi, this event was organized in collaboration with Almotahida Education Group, focusing on programs for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers.

Dr. Riham Al-Attar outlined the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) standards, detailing the program’s objectives, target audience, and the educational services provided. Ms. Tasneem Al-Dabuqi further elaborated on the strategies employed to teach the four language skills, as well as the methods used to assess student progress across different proficiency levels.

The event featured Dr. Fahmi Al-Balawneh, CEO of Almotahida Education , who shared insights into the “Kalman” platform’s curricula.

This platform integrates digital, paper-based, and interactive content to support Arabic language education. Additionally, he discussed the “Bariq” application, which offers a unique learning experience through individual play-based learning.

Also present was Ms. Asma Al-Jamous, an expert in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, who shared her inspiring experiences in the field, highlighting the importance of innovative educational strategies in enhancing students’ language skills.
