Rheem Middle East Progresses in Mission to Upskill Growing Saudi Workforce in Riyadh Innovation Learning Center (ILC)
A booming Saudi HVAC sector and growing human resources within the country justified the progress of Rheem Middle East’s newly opened Innovation Learning Center (ILC) in Riyadh. The ILC, designed to be a hub for innovation and learning, has already made a significant impact in educating, training and professionally developing the HVAC and water heating industry.
The center has hosted numerous training sessions and workshops, welcoming professionals and students in the industry since its launch.
Rheem Middle East, a subsidiary of Rheem Global, which is headquartered in Atlanta, USA, has a number of brands under its umbrella; RUUD, Richmond and Friedrich. Together, they bring immense American know-how, knowledge and international best practices in HVAC and water heating to young aspiring Saudi trainees in Riyadh.
The ILC’s advanced facilities have also played a pivotal role in its mission. The hands-on training rooms, equipped with installed HVAC & water heating units, along with connected water lines, have provided participants with practical experience in installing, servicing and dealing with such products.
The classrooms, featuring state-of-the-art live audio and video streaming, and a round table room for open discussions, have facilitated collaborative learning experiences for the many trainees that have attended training sessions or workshops at the ILC.
The ILC in Riyadh, which is the second such center in the GCC, highlights Rheem’s commitment to innovation and education in the HVAC & water heating industry across the region, and their support towards the professional development of the local residents and Saudis that will ultimately contribute to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals.
The ILC is expected to soon also start hosting trainees and students from educational institutes across the Kingdom and to enhance their learnings through a more holistic approach.
“The Saudi market is one of our key markets and Rheem continually strives to bring the best value to the Kingdom, be it through quality products or knowledge transfer between experts.
The engagement and enthusiasm we’ve seen from the attendees and visitors has been positive and nothing short of amazing. It’s clear that Rheem Middle East is filling a vital need in the Saudi community through our ILC.” said Brian Hempenstall, Vice President and General Manager of Rheem Middle East.
As Rheem Middle East continues to support the rapid development of human resources in Saudi Arabia, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030, the progress of the ILC in Riyadh further strengthens the company’s strategic investment in the future of the HVAC and water heating industry, in the Kingdom and globally.
