AMC Cinemas, the first cinema operator in the Kingdom, hosted the premiere of The Flash, the 13th instalment in the DC Extended Universe. The premiere was held at AMC Cinema’s location in King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh, home to the largest auditorium in the Kingdom, and was screened to an audience of over 400 DC fans.
The audience included members of the AMC Cinemas’ loyalty program, AMC Da’era – the first loyalty program for cinemas in the Kingdom – who were invited to attend the premiere as part the exclusive benefits available to gold and diamond tier members. At the premiere, lucky audience members had the opportunity to win The Flash merchandise while all attendees were gifted exclusive movie posters.
The highly anticipated movie, which stars Ezra Miller as The Flash, Sasha Calle as Supergirl and Michael Shannon as General Zod, features a crossover of some of DC’s most recognised superheroes in a time travelling adventure which sees the return of fan-favourite characters, past and present, to the screen.
The Flash was released today in AMC cinemas across the Kingdom. Movie-goers can enjoy the movie while relaxing in AMC’s signature recliner seat along with its array of features. Fans will also receive one of four movie posters exclusive to AMC cinemas and can also purchase an exclusive popcorn and drink combo branded with the movie characters.
