Tata Motors, one of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers, announced the launch of its new marketing campaign on the occasion of the start of the holy month of Ramadan. Titled #NekiEkIbadat the campaign encourages the joy of celebrating Ramadan together. The campaign further emphasises the values of generosity, inclusivity and strengthening relationships.
The campaign film features a group of Tata Xenon drivers, who come together for their Iftaar in an eatery. The drivers get into an enthusiastic conversation about going home and celebrating Eid with their families. An elderly gentleman, who is the owner of the eatery and is serving the drivers, hears the conversation, forces a smile and leaves without saying a word. The drivers look at each other in silence and realise that the old man has no family to go back to. On the morning of Eid, one of the Tata Xenon drivers visits the restaurant to seek the owner’s help for Eid preparations and they both travel to the driver’s house. To the owner’s surprise, he sees that the group of Tata Xenon drivers have gathered for Eid, with their respective families. They all have been waiting for him to join the Eid celebration. The Eid feast between this family begins, with a great deal of joy.
Commenting on the campaign, Mr. Shubhranshu Singh, Vice President, Marketing, Commercial Vehicle Business, Tata Motors, said “We are delighted to introduce the #NekiEkIbadat campaign in the auspicious month of Ramadan. With this campaign, Tata Motors shares a beautiful message of the spirit of Ramadan about how kindness is the greatest virtue.
