LG CALL OF DUTY OLED COMPETITION CONCLUDES WITH GRAND PRIZE WINNING TEAM
JEDDAH, gulftech – Held earlier in April, LG’s OLED Competition, which was held in collaboration with STC play for Call of Duty, concluded after a weeklong of both online and offline tournaments. Over 380 participants were competing for the top prize, and out of 64 participating teams, the winning team of 6 got to go home with the LG OLED C1.
Commonly recognized as the best gaming TV[1], the OLED C1 is a 2-in-1 gaming TV that provides avid gamers with 4K gaming of up to 120fps – perfectly paired with the TV’s 1ms response time and G-sync and Free Sync features that offer unmatched coordination between the TV and your gaming console.
The game consisted of three online matches that led to the semi-finals, and five which got the remaining teams to qualify for the finals. LG held the competition’s offline final match in Riyadh’s Challenge Arena, where the winning team of 6 participants was announced. The final match was also held in the presence of CoD professional players as well as influencers engaging audience, which included LeoNoHero, Abdulaziz known as “i6rba5”, and FaZe Virus. The tournaments were also streamed and invited social media audiences to watch, where 6 participants were also winners of the LG Tone Wireless Earbuds. This competition is part of LG’s latest initiative to engage with gamers in Saudi and demonstrate the innovation behind its premium gaming products, as well support the gaming community in the Kingdom. The offline event was also held to provide the Saudi gamer community with a memorable experience. As part of this initiative, the tournament also followed a series of gaming competitions by LG which included Spot of Triumph, where over 7,000 Saudi gaming enthusiasts had the chance to participate in a month-long series of gaming battles and challenges to win the top prize.
